From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in influence within the city.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of characters who will branch out from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.
This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
Dividing the Cast
With a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.
That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.
Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Motivations for Departure
For one thing, the team knows exactly where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—used the foes for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.
The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd close behind.
Personal Motivations
Moreover, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The rogue, as the companion and best friend, wants retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a nasty environment.
- The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
- However, their status as important members in the influential clan could assist the party access areas they normally couldn’t.
- Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:
- The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
- The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
- Teor is wanted dead by the clan.
This means them few options but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.
