Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
